Getting Closer to Mega project Problem
Hello folks!
We humans are busy doing different tasks everyday and looking for opportunities which benefit us. And i believe thats this Amal fellowship is one of those opportunities one can look for. After learning amal values and its time to pratice them and this opportunity comes in the form of mega projects. Two month long time period where we will be writing 2 blogs and giving final presentation. But before that we need to decide what to do. The subject of Mega project may be either social welfare based or something related to enterpreneurship. So what touched me more was a social welfare.
Problem statement:
Subject: Quality Education (SDGs)
In this world of technological advancements our education system has become mechanic. Self-discovery through love for nature, art, social work, country and Islam have gone to extinct and are superficial. Schools, colleges and universities have devised curriculum which is insufficient for professional and personal development. So in this very time we need to work individually and as a team to bring back life to youth by empowerment through knowledge and not with mere data and information.
Theory of Change:
If we want to bring back life to our youth we need to give them platform and personal trainings on individual basis to better understand and reflect than to cram and vomit and getting straight out of the academic institutions. Change is only possible if we come out of the way and spend some time by reflection through our journeys.
- Key partners: Non- profit organizations, schools, colleges, universities, volunteers
2. Key activities: Self-discovery, love for nature, art, social work, country and Islam through in person sessions, trainings, online resource.
3. Value proposition: Business — Customer: Exchanging values and gaining happiness
4. Customer segment: Social handles i.e. fb, email etc.
5. Revenue stream: As its mainly financing time but still it can be self finance and collaborations with government and public funded programs
Well, its been a great experience brainstorming about social issues and the things which i felt a connection too. But unfotunately i could not visit schools or other academic institutions due to covid. Futhermore I belive that my idea is quite diverse but its the need of hour and i would definately like to work on it in future as well. And i want it to be more specific with plan to action, strategic approach towards solving the problem with defined milestones in near future along my circles. But Ek ar Ek arr gayara.
If i defined my project in a single word i can say its about Khudi. We are living like robots without self reflections.
I wish that i am able to pursue it in future and Allah almighty helps me take this initiative.
